• LED (light-emitting diode) landscape lighting has made tremendous advances, and it now meets our criteria for light output and color rendition. While other contractors jumped in early to install equipment that doesn’t meet the grade, Night Gardens has been monitoring and testing the latest products to ensure that they meet our highest standards. We are confident that the latest LEDs now meet or surpass the quality you expect from incandescent, halogen, and xenon lighting. As you consider whether to make the leap to LED lighting, weigh the long-term savings against the additional up-front expense. The benefits of LEDs include energy savings, longer bulb life, and lower maintenance costs. 

 

• Another recent development has been the emergence of viable solar-powered landscape lighting onto the market. The technology is relatively new, and it is uncommon to do a full installation with exclusively solar lighting. However, limited use of solar-powered lighting is an efficient way to provide much-needed light to areas of your property to which it would be impractical to trench cable.
